Learn more about our Behavioral Health Services program.
Our Behavioral Health program provides living arrangements for people with disabilities related to emotional, behavioral, mental, and/or physical challenges. But much more than a home, we provide services designed to maximize each client's independence, health, safety, self-efficacy, quality of life, and contribution to the community.
These services are typically delivered through contracts with the PA Dept. of Public Welfare.
How Behavioral Health Helps
On an individual basis, we help clients develop and maintain skills that will be of value in the working world. Then we help identify and create employment opportunities, and support our clients in gainful employment. Having a job and giving back to the community greatly adds to our clients' sense of self-worth - which is our primary cause for offering this service. It is also noteworthy that even severely disabled individuals can participate productively in our community through our services.
Individualized programs can range from very structured care plans to rehabilitative programs designed to facilitate the growth of a client's function, ability, and independence. Programs can work toward teaching residents and helping them increase their positive social behaviors. We offer a cognitive behavioral intervention and positive programming approach with age-appropriate goals individualized to the outcomes accessible by each person. These services empower clients to make choices about their activities of daily living and thereby bolster self-esteem and ongoing success.
To ensure our clients receive the best care possible, Quality Health Care Group practices a multidisciplinary approach to Behavioral Health services. We collaborate with your doctor(s) to extend their care into your home. Our Behavioral Health team includes these disciplines:
